ENRO-20

ENRO-20 is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic with bactericidal activity against both gram positive and gram-negative bacteria as well as Mycoplasma spp, Chlamydia spp. and Rickettsia spp.

COMPOSITION

INDICATIONS

Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections in swine and poultry, caused by microorganisms susceptible to enrofloxacin, such as Campylobacter spp., E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Mycoplasma spp., Pasteurella spp. and Salmonella spp.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to quinolones, severe hepatic or renal impairment.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

For oral administration in drinking water.
Swine: 1 ml per 40 kg body weight (2.5 mg enrofloxacin per kg body weight)
Poultry: 1 liter per 2,000 liters of water for 3-5 days (10 mg enrofloxacin per kg body weight)
Shake well before use. Medicated water should be used immediately and refreshed every 24 hours for the duration of the treatment.

SIDE EFFECTS

Gastrointestinal disturbances. Precautions and warnings: It is recommended that the susceptibility of the causative microorganisms is established before treatment is commenced. Severely sick animals have altered drinking patterns and may need to be medicated parenterally. Dosage may need to be adjusted to reflect herd or flock water consumption.

Meat and offal: 4 days
Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption
